Sponsors The purpose of the Great Prairie MUT is to promote the sport of MUT (mountain-ultra-trail) running in the Midwest through the hosting of USATF MUT National Championships, develop youth MUT running, and build healthy and sustainable lifestyles. Creating a new running event that promotes healthy exercise, lifestyles, renewable energy, organic and locally grown food will benefit everyone.
One interesting element before us is the opportunity to host the 2011 USATF MUT 10k National Trail Championships. This takes 2010 to a different level, because it's not just a trial run (pun intended), it will also be our interview with USA Track & Field. Minnesota has a great running history with Grandma's Marathon, the Twin Cities Marathon, the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon, National Race Walking Championships, and various Junior and Master Events. We believe the Great Prairie MUT will grow with regional and national prominence very quickly.
Event sponsor categories and levels have been established to allow as many companies as possible to participate at nominal rates. As 2010 is the first year for this event, we want to establish a long term and successful relationship between the sponsor and the Great Prairie MUT. If we host a national championship race in 2011, sponsorship rates will increase to cover the associated costs with hosting a national championship.
We would like to dialogue with you about partnering with the 2010 Great Prairie MUT to provide a remarkable opportunity to further promote your product or service. Together, our success in 2010 will leverage greater opportunities in the coming years.
Our prairies feed the world and you know about our mighty rivers, but wait until you run our mountains!!™
