Great Prairie

Round up the best team you can find and head to Minnesota's oldest public golf course, Theodore Wirth Golf Course in Minneapolis, on Friday, August 14. Cost of the outing is $110 and includes golf, cart, dinner and a golf shirt. A hole in one contest will also be available.

The format will be a four person scramble with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. Beverages, burgers and salads will be provided along with prizes for proximity markers and the crowning of the inaugural champions. A raffle and a live auction (which includes an autographed football by the Viking's Adrian Peterson) will round out the festivities.

Hole sponsorships are available and donations of prizes or auction items are greatly appreciated. All proceeds will benefit Great Prairie, Inc.

The Course  The event will start and finish at the International Market Square.

All participants will journey through the Harrison Neighborhood traveling west (the orange course) on Glenwood to Fremont Avenue, turn right and proceed around Heritage Park back to Glenwood then towards Theo Wirth intersection. Wheelers, Runners and Race Walkers will return on the same course. Walkers will return via the yellow route.
